Student Engagement and Success
The Division of Student Engagement and Success provides a wide variety of support and co-curricular learning opportunities through formal and informal programs and services. Each Student Engagement and Success office is staffed with professionals educated and skilled at assisting students to pursue a broad liberal arts education. Most Student Engagement and Success staff members hold at least a master’s degree in student development or a related field. Student Engagement and Success offices include Residential Life, Public Safety, Counseling Services, Multicultural Student Affairs, Student Integrity and Community Standards, Student Health Services, Service Learning, Student Involvement(Fraternity/Sorority Life, Leadership Development, New Student Orientation, the Campus Center and Student Activities), the Women’s Resource Center, the Spectrum Resource Center (LGBTIQ) and Student Government (WCSA).
The Student Handbook
The Student Handbook includes a listing of academic and non-academic policies and procedures. The Handbook is posted on the University’s website each fall and updated on an annual basis. In some cases, the handbook may be updated as needed during the course of the academic year, but students will be notified of any mid-year changes. The handbook supplements the University’s Catalog as the official statement of nonacademic policies and procedures. All students are responsible for becoming familiar with the University policies outlined in these publications.
