PSYC 345 - Psychopharmacology


This course will involve consideration of the relationships among drugs, the nervous system, conscious experience, and behavior. The history, as well as the psychopharmacology, of a wide variety of licit and illicit substances is surveyed including alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, cocaine, amphetamines, marijuana, psychedelics, opiates, and prescription drugs. Prerequisites: C- or better in PSYC 110 or NEUR 110 and sophomore, junior, or senior standing. Group I
