DATA 100 1 - Introduction to Data Analytics


This course introduces students to methods, applications and principles of data analytics through real-world examples and case studies. Students taking this course will learn the basics of data collection and analysis techniques, as well as the social, culture, and ethical impacts of the increasing use of data. Data analysis is essentially the systematic use of information to learn about the real world and, as such, the skills taught in this course are useful in everyday life and in nearly any career.
