A study of the elements of art and the application of the principles of organization as they relate to both decorative and illusionary space. Through exercises and projects students become familiar with the elements of line, shape, value, texture, and color. Also, students are required to develop a vocabulary of art terms and present their work for class critiques. Fall, Spring (Group IV)
