EDUC 329 - Field Practicum: Early Childhood
(0.5 unit)
One course spread over two semesters and required of all early childhood majors in the junior year. Students participate in a series of planned, supervised field experiences in two, prek-3rd grade classrooms, do focused observations, plan and teach lessons, and make informed decisions about the use of varied instructional strategies. Emphasis is on the integration of theory and practice. Prerequisite: EDUC 251 and admission to the teacher education program. EDUC 322 (F) and EDUC 321 (S) taken concurrently.
