Topics include Schrödinger’s equation and its solution for the free particle, wells, steps, barriers, the harmonic oscillator and the hydrogen atom. Prerequisites: PHYS 280 C , MATH 280 . (MATH 270 is helpful.) Corequisite: MATH 210 . Alternate years.
