EDUC 365 - Secondary Methods: Math

Exploration of the strategies for teaching the important mathematical strands with an emphasis on an inquiry-based, constructivist approach. Other issues addressed include the use of appropriate technologies, appropriate use of manipulative and visual models, appropriate instructional materials and resources, and formative and summative assessment strategies. EDUC 369 to be taken concurrently. Prerequisite: EDUC 370 and admission to the teacher education program. Fall
