ECON 370 - Economic Systems This course examines the principles, organization, and performance of contemporary economic systems. Various economies from different regions of the world are studied under three major types of economic systems: market-oriented economies, centrally planned and transitional economies, and less developed economies. Special attention is paid to the economic and political problems relating to transition. The course also discusses the transformation of existing economic systems through globalization and regional economic integration. Prerequisite: C or better in ECON 110 . Spring (Group I) (Diversity)
