This practicum is taken concurrently with the secondary methods course. Students participate in a series of field experiences in an assigned secondary classroom; do focused observations; plan and teach supervised lessons. Has a focus on classroom management; curricular, instructional and assessment approaches; and consider issues of professionalism. Prerequisite: EDUC 370 and admission to the teacher education program. This is a service learning course. Fall
