                  MUS 373 - Elementary Music Methods  (1.00 unit)
  The psychology and principles of teaching in the elementary and middle schools (PreK-8); a critical evaluation of available materials and current methods, both vocal and instrumental procedures being stressed. Each student participates in two laboratory situations per week.  Note: Music education majors should apply and be admitted to the teacher education program before taking MUS 373.
