Survey of topics in the field of inorganic chemistry including group theory, molecular orbital theory, coordination chemistry, organometallics and catalysis. the chemistry of the elements with emphasis on structure, chemical bonding, and reactivity. Aspects of synthesis and characterization are dealt with both in lecture and laboratory.
