Techniques for the investigation and solution of geologic problems. Emphasized are the techniques and equipment of field geology and technical writing. Topics include interpretation of geologic, topographic, and tectonic maps and aerial photographs; methods of field mapping and field data interpretation; drafting and presentation of geologic data; writing of technical reports.
