                  MATH 108 - Precalculus Mathematics  This course is designed for students who wish eventually to take calculus but have insufficient mathematical background. It is expected that these students will have studied Algebra 2 and Geometry in high school. The course will emphasize the techniques and thought processes that are important in calculus. Principal topics: functions, graphs, exponentials and logarithms, trigonometry, mathematical reasoning, word problems. Use will be made of modern technology.  Prerequisite: At least three years of high school mathematics, including two years of algebra and geometry.
