PSYC 322 - Abnormal Behavior This class covers the study of abnormal behavior and psychopathology within a bio-psycho-social conceptual framework. The class will cover common mental disorders including those related to anxiety, trauma, personality, depression, psychosis, eating, and neurocognitive functioning. Emphasis will be placed on diagnostic criteria, clinical manifestation, etiology, comorbidity, prevalence and incidence, and prognosis for major mental health disorders within the DSM-5. When applicable, attention may be given to empirically-validated treatments and multicultural issues. Prerequisites: C- or better in PSYC 110 and sophomore, junior, or senior standing.
