This seminar accompanies the student teaching experience in which students participate in two settings: 1/2 in a primary grade classroom and 1/2 in an inclusion setting. Each culminates in full-day classroom responsibility for an extended period of time. Major topics build from a framework of domains for teaching, including planning and preparation, establishing a learning environment, multiple instructional approaches, professional decision making and problem solving, and growing as a professional. Students pursuing the Early Childhood Special Education Concentration should take this seminar in place of EDUC 464 . This is a service learning course. Spring
