HONS 201 - Honors Seminar 1.00
Honors seminars are topic or theme-based courses designed to challenge and engage first or second-year Honors students. The specific topic of each seminar will vary according to the interests and the disciplines of the faculty who teach them. Students will practice methods of discourse and inquiry appropriate for the disciplinary or as disciplinary perspectives around which the topic is taught. Honors seminars do not assume any prior experience in a discipline or topic, typically do not carry pre-requisites, and can sometimes be used to fulfill general education requirements. All honors students who plan to apply to Graduate with Honors must take at least one Honors Seminar as part of their overall Honors Curriculum. Fall, Spring
