FIN 307 I - Topics: International Finance

.50

How do firms determine which projects to pursue internationally, and how are the projects funded?  How do companies manage product pricing in multiple currencies?  How do companies measure their international risk and whether or not to hedge?  How do countries manage their currency against other world currencies?  How does the foreign exchange market work?  This course examines these topics from both a theoretical and a practical perspective. (Previously listed as BUS 307 I).  Pre-requisite: C- or better in either BUS/FIN 331 or BUS/FIN 361. Spring, first module, alternate years.
