PSYC 262 - Health Psychology The study of the role that psychological and behavioral factors play in physical illness, and in the maintenance and restoration of health. Among topics covered are: the bio-psycho-social model of health and illness, stress, personality and disease, pain, health promotion, and the possible contribution of psychological factors to several major physical disorders. The role of individual behavior in maintaining health and producing illness, as well as behavior-based treatment of physical disorders are also addressed. Prerequisite: C- or better in PSYC 110 . Group I
