BIOL 300 14 - Herpetology

This course will focus on understanding broad concepts in evolutionary biology and ecology, using reptilian and amphibian species as case studies. Students will learn of the great diversity among species, the evolutionary patterns that shape this diversity, and the ecological significance of the many unique traits possessed by these taxa. The course will integrate traditional lectures, experiential and hands-on projects, and primary literature reading/discussion.  Prerequisite: BIOL 122 ​ (Group II)
