This course extends the basic financial concepts introduced in FIN/BUS/EMAN 361, exploring topics in corporate finance such as corporate restructuring (mergers, acquisitions and leveraged buyouts), derivatives (e.g. futures, forwards and options), working capital management, operating/financial leverage, foreign exchange, corporate governance and pension management. Teaching methodologies will range from theoretical study to applied case analysis. Juniors and Seniors only. (Previously listed as BUS 462) Prerequisites: C- or better in ACCT 217, and BUS/FIN 361 or BUS/FIN 331. Spring
