PG 366 - Great Power Politics and U.S.-China Relations

This course is designed to help students understand the rise of China and U.S.-China relations which will continue to shape the landscape of global and international relations in the 21st century. In this course, students will examine international relations theories on the rise and fall of great powers, the rise of China and its impact on the international system, and U.S.-China relations with a focus on various issues the US and China have to tackle today. Each student is required to engage in research on a specific research question or puzzle, which will result in a research paper. The course has no specific prerequisites.
