Globalization has emerged as one of the hot topics today and it is affecting nearly every aspect of our lives. This course is intended to introduce the various aspects of globalization to students in systematic and in-depth ways. In this course, we will examine basic questions and debates on globalization and related ideologies and processes. The course also addresses various forms of globalization (political, economic, cultural, ecological, etc.) and related issues. Lastly, resistance to and the futures of globalization are discussed.
