WGS 350 - Sexuality Studies 1.00
This course provides an introduction to sexuality studies through an interdisciplinary approach, examining a range of sexual diversity, including gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, intersexual, heterosexual, and queer identities and desires. We will investigate how this diversity of sexuality is represented in social, legal, religious, medical, biological, and literary contexts. Through discussion and critical engagement with assorted texts and images, the course will provide a chance to explore the way various discourses affect how individuals interpret and represent their own sexuality.
