NEUR 350 - Neuroanatomy

This course covers the major structures of the nervous system and their functions. Students will develop an understanding of three-dimensional gross neuroanatomy and functional circuits with an emphasis on the human nervous system. The course provides an overview of major structures and/or circuits involved in movement, sensation, homeostasis, autonomic functions, emotion, learning, memory, and cognition. We will discuss structures that support and protect the nervous system as well as examples of what happens when structures and circuits are disrupted. 

Prerequisite:  ENG 105 and BIOL 120 or NEUR 250, or by permission of instructor.
