FIN 331 - Core Financial Concepts (0.5 units)
A fast and hard-hitting course on the essential topics for understanding financial management. Topics include time value of money, stock and bond valuation, risk and return, capital budgeting techniques, and the cost of capital. Students wanting more in-depth analysis on these topics, or those majoring in Finance Economics or Accounting, should take FIN 361 Financial Management. Credit is not awarded for both FIN 331 and FIN 361. (Previously listed as BUS 331). Prerequisites: C- or higher in ACCT/EMAN/BUS/FIN 280. Fall, Spring.
