This practicum is taken concurrently with the middle school and secondary methods course. Students participate in a series of field experiences in an assigned classroom; do focused observations; plan and teach supervised lessons. The practicum has a focus on classroom management; curricular, instructional and assessment approaches; and considers issues of professionalism. Prerequisite: B- or higher in EDUC 350 and admission to the Teacher Education Program. Spring
