CHEM 340 Biochemistry I
A study of the structure and function of major classes of biomolecules, including proteins and enzymes, carbohydrates and lipids. Membrane transport, signal transduction and metabolic pathways, particularly catabolic pathways (glycolysis, citric acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation) are also covered.
