This course is an exploration of the strategies for teaching the important mathematical strands in middle and high school with an emphasis on an inquiry-based, constructivist approach. Other issues addressed include the use of appropriate technologies, appropriate use of manipulative and visual models, appropriate instructional materials and resources, and formative and summative assessment strategies.
