MATH 108 Precalculus Mathematics
This course is designed for students who wish eventually to take calculus but have insufficient mathematical background. It is expected that these students will have studied Algebra 2 and Geometry in high school. The course will emphasize the techniques and thought processes that are important in calculus. Principal topics: functions, graphs, exponentials and logarithms, trigonometry, mathematical reasoning, word problems. Use will be made of modern technology.
