SOAN 499 Seminar in Applied Sociology and Anthropology
This course is a capstone for both the Sociology/Anthropology and Social Justice majors. As a capstone course, it serves as a culminating experience to reflect upon, synthesize, and apply learned material from the major. A significant part of the course will be a collaborative research project in which students conduct qualitative interviews with SOAN/SJ alumni about how they have navigated the labor market and their careers, and how they have used their SOAN/SJ and liberal arts education within their field.
