BIOL 331 Vertebrate Anatomy
This course explores the evolutionary history of vertebrate anatomy including functional morphology, from a comparative perspective. The course combines lectures, readings, and hands-on projects including dissections and working with museum specimens. In addition to placing vertebrate anatomy in an evolutionary perspective, students will gain an understanding of how form impacts function with contemporary examples.
