BIOL 361 Parasites and Immunity




This course explores parasitic associations, particularly those of medical and veterinary importance. The evolution, life cycles, and pathology of representative protists, helminths, arthropods, and other groups are discussed in lectures and further examined in the laboratory. The laboratory component emphasizes parasite anatomy and identification, parasite collection, diagnostic techniques, and experimental approaches.
