This course is designed to increase your understanding of persuasive communication, or messages intended to influence people’s attitudes and behaviors. As an upper-level, intensive writing course, it is also designed to improve your writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills through an exploration of persuasion as it relates to the American experience.
