The course explores a wide spectrum of visual possibilities engaged in the process of design of both 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional forms, by working with different materials such as paper, wood, metal, wax, clay. Through a sequence of workshops, exercises, and hands-on projects, students will learn about the theory of art and organizing principles of design, which will help them develop, refine, and build a portfolio of original artwork.
