PSYC 330 Family Psychology




This course is intended to explore the field of family psychology. Students will learn about the major theoretical and methodological approaches to the empirical study of family relationships and functioning. We will also examine research on topics such as couple and marital relationships, the transition to parenthood, divorce/remarriage, contextual influences on family functioning. We will also devote particular attention to research on diverse family structures.
