Minor Requirements

Students must complete:

• GEOG 333 Latin American Geographies 
• PG 348 Latin American Politics 
• two (2) of the following history courses:
  • HIST 115 Introduction to Latin American History 
  • HIST 271 Mexico: From Conquest to Revolution 
  • HIST 332 Argentina, Brazil, and Chile Since Independence 
  • HIST 333 Modern Latin America: 1800 to the Present 
  • HIST 334 Indians, Spaniards & the Struggle for Colonial Latin America 
  • HIST 335 A Topics in Latin American History: Latin America in Revolution 
  • HIST 335 B Topics: The Spanish Conquest of America 
  • HIST 335 C Economic History of Latin America 
  • and two (2) Spanish courses beyond the level of SPAN 111 .

Minors are encouraged but not required to study abroad.
