The psychology and principles of teaching in the middle and high schools (6-12); a critical evaluation of available materials and current methods, both vocal and instrumental procedures being stressed. Each student participates in two laboratory situations per week. Prerequisites: MUS 373 and EDUC 251. Note: Music education majors should have been admitted to the teacher education program before taking MUS 374.
