Topics include electrostatics, magnetostatics, induced electromotive forces, Maxwell’s equations in free space and in dielectric and magnetic materials, and electromagnetic waves. Vector calculus is used throughout. Prerequisites: PHYS 280 C , MATH 280 . Corequisite: MATH 210 . Alternate years.
