BUS 307 J - Topics: Financial Derivatives .50
Financial derivatives are specialized instruments that derive their value from another underlying asset. In this course we will study the characteristics, payoff structures, and hedging uses of the basic derivative types: futures, forwards, swaps, and options. Students should expect significant quantitative and mathematical work. C- or better in either BUS 331 or BUS 361 . Spring, second module, alternate years. (Offered 2018-2019)
