Design, construction, glazing, and firing of ceramics; the chemistry of glazes and simple geology of clay. The class alternates throwing and handbuilding techniques from one semester to the next. Prerequisite: ART 113 or ART 114 or ART 115 or consent of instructor. Fall, Spring (Group IV) ($75 studio fee.)
