In this workshop, students analyze traditional play structure, study the nature and process of playwriting as an art form, and explore how playwrights develop ideas through character and action. Students complete weekly writing assignments and exercises, share work, and respond to others’ writing, culminating in the completion of a one-act play. Also listed as THEA 369 .
