PSYC 322 - Abnormal Behavior The major forms of abnormal behavior and psychopathology are described as based in the most current DSM. They are discussed in light of an integrative bio-psycho-social model. Emphasis is placed on psychological and biological empirically-validated theories and models which explain the disorders. Disorders include, but are not limited to, the following: anxiety disorders, OCD-related disorders, trauma-related disorders, depressive disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, sexual disorders, impulse-control disorders, dissociative disorders, somatic symptom disorders, feeding and eating disorders, bipolar-related disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, forms of malingering and factious disorder, and cognitive disorders. When possible, treatment approaches are discussed as well. Tier 3 course. Prerequisites: C- or better in PSYC 110 and sophomore, junior, or senior standing. Fall, Spring Group I
