A continuation of Biochemistry I, metabolic pathways will be discussed, both catabolic (fatty acid oxidation, amino acid oxidation) and anabolic (lipid biosynthesis, amino acid biosynthesis, nucleic acid biosynthesis). The remaining biomolecules (nucleic acids, RNA/DNA) will also be discussed, as well as the storage and transmission of genetic information.
