PHIL 211 Ethics




This course will combine an introduction to ethical theory with an analysis of contemporary moral problems. Sample moral issues that may be discussed include abortion, euthanasia, poverty and affluence, inequality, climate change and environmental ethics, animal rights, war, peace and terrorism, issues of race, gender and sexual orientation, crime and punishment, privacy, drug policy, and immigration.
