ACTV 0342 Jujitsu II
You will learn the complete system of Gracie/Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiujitsu, designed to let the weak be able to defend against a bigger attacker. Jiujitsu is taught in an enjoyable, safe, fully matted, positive environment, taught by internationally certified instructors. Skills include throws, takedowns, grappling, joint locks, escapes, and ground fighting.
Note: Credit for a maximum of two units (eight courses) in physical education activity courses, including varsity sports, may be earned and applied to the 34 minimum units required for graduation. If more than eight activity courses (two units) are completed, credit for subsequent courses will not be awarded and grades for such courses will not be included in term or cumulative GPA calculations.
