Minor Requirements

A minimum of 7 units consisting of:

• BUS 120 Principles of Marketing 
• BUS 140 Business Operations 
• ECON 110 Principles of Economics  
• ACCT 217 Principles of Financial Accounting  
• FIN 280 Financial Statement Analysis  (0.5 unit)
• EITHER FIN 331 Core Financial Concepts  (0.5 unit) or FIN 361 Financial Management  (may only receive credit for one)
• and two upper-level business electives from among:
  • ​ACCT 341 Managerial Accounting , ACCT 348 Business Law I , or any other upper-level BUS courses. BUS 307 - Topics in Business  (0.5 unit each) may be repeated with different topics. Only one unit of BUS 495 Internship Program  may be counted.

If this minor is combined with another major or minor in the department (finance major, accounting major, accounting minor), ACCT 341 , ACCT 348 , and ACCT 349  may only be utilized for one designation.

Credit cannot be earned for both FIN 331  and FIN 361 .
