Requirements: 5 units

• 1 unit comprised of MUS 155 , plus either MUS 156  or MUS 165  
• MUS 105 Appreciation of Music Literature  
• 1 unit of music history, chosen from MUS 347 , MUS 348 , MUS 349 , MUS 357 , or MUS 358  
• 2 elective units. Applied lessons or ensembles may be counted for up to one of these elective units.

The declaration for the academic minor may be submitted upon completion of two units of music study. Courses taken credit/no entry may not be applied to the music minor. For students taking applied lessons, lesson fees will be waived only for the semesters being applied to the minor (maximum total of 1 unit), and only for 100-level lessons. Students will be responsible for fees for any additional semesters of study.
