An investigation of literary works written during the Middle Ages (600-1550) through the lens of a specific theme, genre; cultural, political, or intellectual trend; and/or literary antecedents and afterlives. Possible topics may include include Legends of King Arthur, “Twice-told tales: Re-reading the Classics in Medieval English Literature,” and “Middle English Romance.” Fall (Group III)
