In FREN 250, students will build on what they learned in FREN 230 . Through sustained engagement with texts and cultural artifacts from the French and Francophone world, they will also work toward honing their critical thinking, reading, writing, argumentation, and basic analysis skills in French. This class functions as a “bridge course” between more linguistically oriented courses and the literary and cultural seminars they will encounter at the 300 levels. Prerequisite: FREN 230 .
