SOAN 359 - Social Inequality Is the American Dream alive or dead? This course examines poverty and class inequality, including their causes, characteristics, and consequences. Special attention to trends in contemporary American society, including the economic, social, and cultural dimensions of class. Throughout the course, we also examine how class inequality intersects with race and gender.
Prerequisite: SOAN 110 , SOAN 117 , or SJ 110 , or permission of instructor. F (Group I Social Science)
